Balancing Out?

For the past 6 weeks I have not lost any weight. I've tried changing my workout and diet to no avail and people have been telling me my body is probably "balanced". It's happy at this weight and all that mumbo jumbo. Is this an actual thing? I am not happy at this weight and I don't understand how a body can just decide to quit losing because it's "balanced out".

There's quite a few gaps in your diary - are you sure you are recording as accurately as possible?
What are your current weight and height?
It is true that those last few pounds are the slowest to come off, sadly.0 -
I'm 5' 4" and about 165 lbs. The past 2 weeks or so I haven't been the most accurate at logging but that's thanks to being in a show and having zero time to log at night but I was keeping track in my head on how many calories at night I was consuming. I was under most days. Now today I'm up 3 pounds! Oh the frustration.0

I can understand how frustrating that is!
The body isn't a robot, and sometimes the simple calories in-calories out is a wee bit more complicated than that! One of the times when the body hangs on to weight is when it's under stress - if you've been working hard doing a show, it may well be that the stresses and strains of that are causing your body to conserve its resources.
What's the show - how's it going?0
