Just a quick question. I normally juice and was wondering how others log this into their food journal. So how do you do it?

Thanks!!

I use the MFP recipie section and enter in all the ingredients and it calculates the calories based on an 8oz serving size...this takes a bit more time (I'm a little behind on entering in my juices) but it's doable. Also depending on what it is, you can enter in the first few ingredients in the search section where you add food and see if any juices come up with the combo you're using. I'd love to hear how long have you been juicing and how has it been going for you. I'm somewhat new at it and still learning a lot.

I've been juicing on and off for 8 months now. This morning I made a carrot/tomato/orange concoction. And it tasted pretty good. I don't have any recipes I just look in the fridge to see what I have and make something. In the past I have used kale and spinach but I make sure I blend it with an apple so that I get some juice out of it. I love it but my husband gulps it down. lol

I will take your advice and created recipes. Thanks

Sorry for my delayed response. Check out www.jointhereboot.com - there are some great recipies there :-)

I do the same - it's also a great way to get use out of all those fruits and veggies which I typically over ambitiously purchase at the beginning of the week!
