what counts as a six pack?

I presently (if flexing) have a clearly discernible top four pack and the line outlining the sides of my lower two. Do I just keep on as I am and the lower definition will come or am I genetically predisposed to not having the lower band that forms the lower abs?

Depends on what you are doing. Crunches only work the top 4 abs.0

Mostly all I do is chin us, dips, push ups and "insanity" and just eat healthy and at a deficit.0

I'm destined for the five pack, it seems. Or the weird mismatched lego blocks pack (thank you so much to my genetic freak body frame). I get the outside rails, some of the fingers coming in from the sides, but no full split down the middle. This despite having been as low as 6% body fat. I've got a profile pic at about 9.5% that gives a rough idea of what I'm talking about.
Point being, some people are just unlucky and get to work harder. If I want mine, I know that means lots of weight bearing work to make what lines I do have really pop. It's one of the things I'm currently working on.0 -
Maybe I just keep working at it. Finally ordered some dumbells so I can start building more muscle mass. chin ups, push ups and insanity weren't cutting it though did trim a lot off0

6 pack= what i would rather drink as opposed to my protien shake?..:drinker:0

I'd just say trying to focus more on strength training (while still watching calories). It might help nudge that last tiny bit!0

I don't know balance cookies and cream is delicious :-)0 -
Got some weights finally.I'll stay just under maintenance, I don't want to wreck my muscles, I want them to grow. Hopefully I push it over the edge and get that last little pop because its more or less a six pack now just not super ripped.0
