This weekend, my little family (in the form of myself, my hubby and my maniac dog) are travelling miles and miles and miles from home to the Lake District for a week of fell walking and perhaps a bit of climbing to (if i'm brave). It'll be a honeymoon anniversary for us. :heart: as it is the same week that we had our honeymoon 2 years ago.

I was starting to write a list of what we need to take and for the first time EVER when making a packing list for holibogs.... I added...

HRM;
JM 30DS; and
running shoes.

..... when I joined MFP i wanted a lifestyle change, i hardly ever exercised and really didn't pay too much attention to what i should and shouldn't be eating. I think this little NSV of mine has proven without a doubt that I have in fact made that lifestyle change. Now its just a case of continue to workout and hopefully one day in the not too distant future, i'll reap the benefits!

a definite first for me!

    Brilliant!

    I did the National Three Peaks Challenge back in June, and Scafell Pike is one of the best workouts I've ever had! Haha!

    Hope you have a great time :-)

    Have a great time! I did some scrambling a few weeks again. Climbed up Tryfan, in Snowdonia National Park, and back down again... 41/2 hours it took! I typed it in to fitness pal and it stated I had burnt 2084 calories!!!!!! The only downside was I couldn't walk properly for 3 days... think I over did it. Have a great time and don't over do it like I did :0(
