I just started running on the beach and am using adidas. I love the beach in the morning.

I run almost exclusively on asphalt... Either the road on paved jogging paths in local parks. I'm planning to try running on the cinder track at the local middle school after I finish my couch 2 5k program and start looking to improve my pace.

I run in Vibram FiveFingers KSOs.

I run on paved trails or a dirt road. I wear Asics 1260s. I've tried Nikes but they don't work for me, so I stick to the Asics or New Balance.

I'm working my way up to running. I went to a running shop and tried on a boat load of shoes, ended up getting Brooks Glycerin. After wearing them I can't imagine ever wearing another running shoe.

So far I've only conquered roads, looking forward to giving the trails a try once it dries up a little around here. I stepped out of my Nike boundry and have invested in a pair of On Cloudrunners, if it wasn't for the "jiggle in my middle" I never would have know my feet were hitting the gound. :) However, I woke up the morning after with the worst ankle pain, thats never happened with my Nikes. Probably just need some getting used to.

Short runs through my neighborhood - streets and sidewalks. I do my long runs on paved and limestone trails. I run in Nike Vomeros. I've been running in them for years and love them.

Treadmill, or outside when it's 45+ degrees out.

I have some Nike Zooms right now which I hate and will be replacing this weekend. I'm going back to Brooks. Either Adrenaline or Trance.

I mostly run on a paved trail but occasionally on a wooded trail, gravel road, in town, school outdoor track, or school indoor track.

I wear Asics Gel Cumulus 13 now but my first pair was the Cumulus 12.

I run outside all winter long in MN. I've found that it's easier for me in the winter when it's 5 degrees and blowing snow rather than 80 degrees and buggy. That's when I usually go to the air conditioned school. :)

I run mainly on paved trails or roadways, treadmill in winter. I've worn Mizuno Wave Riders brand for ten years. One tip I picked up when I was trying to find a brand was to try on two different shoes at the same time - one brand on the left, one on the right. It's real easy to figure out which one feels more comfortable.
