Better drink option to order at a bar?

Options
I'm going out to the bar tomorrow night, and I rarely drink as it is but it's my friend's birthday. So I was wondering what alcoholic beverages would be best for me that won't throw my weight loss off. I'm thinking more of mixed drinks because I don't like beer.

I have a 2 drink maximum and then I'm back to water.

jack and diet coke or something mixed with vodka. Then again a glass of wine. I had to stop drinking a while ago so I normally get some seltzer water with lemon and lime slices

wine and beer are best I find because you get more drink for the calories (its just more water and less juice or booze) but as long as you stay away from creamy drinks and drinks with a lot of sugary syrups you will be fine.

I'm on vacation next week and thinking the same thing. I may go for shots: more bang for the calorie buck.

cranberry vodka is my go to. for a small one, they're under 100 cals depending on how strong you like it, lol. also jack and coke (or diet).

A good whiskey straight up or on the rocks if necessary.

Anything mixed with club soda or DIET tonic. Diet pop as a mixer is ok, but it's loaded with sodium. Then there's the 64-calorie beers, but to me they just taste like watered down bitter seltzer water.

Vodka with a diet mixer is the absolute lowest like many say.

To add to the whiskey suggestions - try a hot whiskey? It'll be a shot of whiskey with hot water, lemon and cloves. So it'll have more volume for roughly the same calories. They're really cosy.

I've been having pint bottles of bulmers light when I'm in a social situation - the pint bottle lasts longer than a pint draught, and I find bulmers light really thirst-quenching. It's 159 calories for the pint (568mls).

Those would be my three options!

wine is lower in cals than liquor and champagne is lowest of the wines. An entire bottle of champagne is around 500 calories. Fortunately, I LOVE CHAMPAGNE. Imma wino ~
