Better drink option to order at a bar?

I'm going out to the bar tomorrow night, and I rarely drink as it is but it's my friend's birthday. So I was wondering what alcoholic beverages would be best for me that won't throw my weight loss off. I'm thinking more of mixed drinks because I don't like beer.
I have a 2 drink maximum and then I'm back to water.

jack and diet coke or something mixed with vodka. Then again a glass of wine. I had to stop drinking a while ago so I normally get some seltzer water with lemon and lime slices0
-
wine and beer are best I find because you get more drink for the calories (its just more water and less juice or booze) but as long as you stay away from creamy drinks and drinks with a lot of sugary syrups you will be fine.0

I'm on vacation next week and thinking the same thing. I may go for shots: more bang for the calorie buck.0

I drink Rum and Diet Coke.0
-
Captain and Diet Coke or any diet pop/diet tonic/soda water mixed with a non sugary liquor0
-
vodka diet tonic.
rum and diet coke.
straight vodka or tequila.
All of those are typically under 100 calories.0 -
I don't drink much but I do like a vodka and cranberry juice..YUMMY!0

I don't drink but when I go out I get club soda and cranberry juice with some lime in it. Looks just like a real drink! Haha.0

cranberry vodka is my go to. for a small one, they're under 100 cals depending on how strong you like it, lol. also jack and coke (or diet).0

A good whiskey straight up or on the rocks if necessary.0

Anything mixed with club soda or DIET tonic. Diet pop as a mixer is ok, but it's loaded with sodium. Then there's the 64-calorie beers, but to me they just taste like watered down bitter seltzer water.0

Red wine! Good for the heart!0

Cranberry Vodka
or even better which tastes great surprizingly enough..
Vodka ,water and REAL lime..
delish.
but I also light beer myself, i'll have a 67 cal light one0 -
i usually do stoli blueberry/rasberry and soda OR hendricks gin and soda OR captain morgan's rum and diet coke0

Pinot Noir has the highest concentration of Resveratrol... a win win.0

Vodka with a diet mixer is the absolute lowest like many say.
To add to the whiskey suggestions - try a hot whiskey? It'll be a shot of whiskey with hot water, lemon and cloves. So it'll have more volume for roughly the same calories. They're really cosy.
I've been having pint bottles of bulmers light when I'm in a social situation - the pint bottle lasts longer than a pint draught, and I find bulmers light really thirst-quenching. It's 159 calories for the pint (568mls).
Those would be my three options!0 -
my new favorite is cherry vodka, club soda&limes.. so good!
..any flavored vodka and club soda is pretty good tho & low cal0 -

Crown and Ginger ale is really good and it is only abot 176 cals0
-
wine is lower in cals than liquor and champagne is lowest of the wines. An entire bottle of champagne is around 500 calories. Fortunately, I LOVE CHAMPAGNE. Imma wino ~0

For something tropical--Malibu Rum + Diet Coke.0

I like a gin and diet tonic!0

Wine is a good 'diet' friendly choice....I think it is about 20 calories an ounce or something like that.
Vermouth...Rum or Gin have the least amount of calories as well.
And if you do a beer, go with 'light' beer....
I go with Vodka & Sparkling Water usually....which is about 104 calories per shot/glass and is pretty high, but I don't drink too often anyways.0 -
UV Cake Vodka and Diet Coke. My friend swears by it, and it's very low cal.0

I love coconut rum on the rocks. It helps a sweet craving but is not as sweet as schnapps or as strong as some liquors. I hate to waste calories on mixers. Also, I tend to sip it, so I can control myself0

Tall Glass, ice, vodka, soda water, chunk of fresh lime squeezed in and left in.
A 25ml shot ( 0.84 US oz) is 50 to 60 calories dependant on brand.0
