Would love some new workout friends!

Hi everyone!
I'm Liz, 26, 5'7" 145lbs from Tampa, FL. Although I've been using the myfitnesspal app for some time, this is the first that I've tried the website. I would love to meet some people with similar goals (primarily fitness and mental and physical health, weight loss secondarily). I'm an animal nut, train birds of prey, do behavioral research with lemurs, ride dressage horses, and live amongst tarantulas, scorpions, various other critters. I'm not exactly a fascinating person (I just totally exhausted my list of things that are interesting about my life), but I'll do my best to keep you entertained! :)

p.s. I'm a yoga addict, and love running and cycling. Any yogis/cyclists/runners out there?

    Okay the list that you just exhausted it really impressive to me. I hope that you find friends with similar interests. I know that I have similar goals but just reversed I'm afraid. I figure if I lose weight then my physical and mental state will start to improve.

    I'm not sure how I'd describe "living among tarantulas and scorpions", but it doesn't sound boring.

    I live among dogs and that's about as excotic as it gets, but I do trail run (3-5 miles) and love to bike (mountain > road). I'm trying to lose some weight to make me better at my fitness endeavors. I'm pretty athletic already, but I want to take it to the next level this year. Sorry, no yoga :-P

    I just started riding and coaching for a women's club mountain bike team in Colorado Springs, where I live. Not that I'm a fantastic rider, but the group is aimed at teaching women of all abilities to improve their skill levels, so there's always someone I can help. I ride some road too, but ever since I moved here, I am hooked on the trails.

    Just signed up for a spartan race at the military post here (running, obstacles, mud, etc), and there are some VERY fast people on my team, so it's my goal not to be last on the team :-) Would love to have you as a friend. I'm not very good at getting by on minimal calories, so my focus tend to be burning more!

    i would love a motivated work out friend, currently i balance strength training, cardio, pilates, yoga. i do use work out tapes and do a lot walking too. I am also really good a nutrition when i put my mind to it. Balance is key for me. I really love to feel the burn but love a good yoga stretch at the end.
