Plateau

Has anyone else had a plateau in their weight loss journey? I'm really having a hard time and fluctuating between 1-2 Ib for awhile. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks MFP Community!

I think the majority of fat losers will encounter a plateau at sometime in their journey. I don't know if anyone could offer you any concrete advice without seeing your diary, exercise, and at what point you are in your weight loss. Gotta know what you're doing before we can advise on what you could or should try :)

    Oh yeah. Nice write up.

Doing incredibly inefficient activities (cough. . . running. . .cough) will cause fairly rapid weight loss initially until the adaption phase ends.

    Then what?

Overload principle applies to a certain extent but this is the time when cross training becomes more and more imperative

In other words: if what you are doing isn't working, do something else.
