What should I eat after I workout in the evening?

Hey everyone,

I work out in the evenings and usually come home starving. I notice what I eat leaves me STARVING when I wake up. What would you recommend I eat after my evening workout that's good and won't take so long to break down? :smile:

    carbs post workout is a topic that is so debated but I take carb slam immediatly after (fast burning carb for recovery). then I eat dinner post work out (I ialso work out ithe evening). Dinner is protein and low or no carbs. My favorite is ground turkey. it is extremelly high in protein and has 0 carbs. a protein shake before bed with water would be great as well. Most say a protein shake right before bed will make your sleep anabolic.

    I would never NOT eat after working out.

    I usually eat an apple or a banana.
    I often cut the apple up and put it in my bag so it's there when I am done with my workout

    I usually have a snickers or a pack of m&m's. Guess that's why I haven't made my goal yet. lol.
