I posted a blog about the overweight thing...
Anyways, for me I'm 5'3 and I started this mess 2 years ago at 250lbs, why the heck did I ever let myself get that big? That's beyond me. Anyways, truth is I did and now I'm 104lbs lighter. I stepped on the scale this morning for my Sunday weigh in for a group I'm in on Facebook, but my weigh in for MFP is Friday's. Anyway, so the scale read 146. For my height the top of average is 147. I don't remember ever being average, since I was 14 yrs old and still I think I was over weight for my age. It's pretty awesome when your mom says to you "You look better now then you did before kids." my next goal to that comment would be "Wow you have 2 kids?".. I still got a ways to go but heck I'm almost there, compared to the 104lbs in the past.
My MIL came over yesterday and she seen me and said "You look good, I think I have a pair of jeans that'll fit you" So you better understand my shock at this, my MIL is as big around as my pinkie. She is very thin. She then took her jeans off and told me to put them on, I laughed cus I thought she was out of her mind to think I was her size. She then said "I gotta go get new jeans these are falling off me" the jean size is 8. I tried them on and by my surprise I can wear a size 8. This has never happen to me lol. I knew my 11's were getting lose but really? I thought a 9/10 not an 8...
