Add a metabolism booting kick to any smoothie

Ok for all those moments when your on the go a good meal replacement can be a smoothie. MATCHA MATCHA MATCHA.............. Matcha is a form of Japanese green tea in its purest form. Its the actual leaves that are carefully grown in the shade and then ground into a powder. Google "matcha green tea" and be amazed by the health benefits of the stuff....such as natural mood enhancement, antioxidant level threw threw the roof and just the natural jolt you need...not to mention the best benifit of all.....INCREASED METABOLISM ....i mix 2 tsp. with a cup of OJ and a serving of frozen fruit...usually mixed berry or just raz n strawberry's.....and if im behind in protein or if your weight training like me you can add a scoop of plain protein powder......and if your feeling like chocolate.....mix a scoop of chocolate protein powder with 1 or 2 tbs of peanut butter, cup of skim milk and for the kick 2 tsp of instant coffee grounds....blend it 1 minute then add some ice and blend another 2 mins......gooooooooood....hit the store and grab a box of straws n your good to go! Any questions just hit me up!!! And to become a believer of Matcha like I did....Try it hot first.... 2 tsp in 4 oz of water with a squirt of fresh lemon....make sure not to forget the lemon tho....it helps your body utilize the teas maximum benefit!! And by the way I recently had a midterm so as I was studying late last week I made myself a fruit smoothie with two tablespoons of matcha...I would just like to say that I couldnt go to sleep for about 36 hours...Just thought ide let you know...Maybe you should stay at around 2 tsp. for a smoothie and 1tsp. for hot....Enjoy
