I have a bag of broccoli slaw in my fridge, but do not know what to do with it. I thought I heard somewhere that it could in place of pasta, but I do not know how true that is and never made it.

It's so good when you saute it with a little olive oil, garlic and onion. Yummy!

Thanks, I will try that this week !!
  • I toss it with an oil and vinegar coleslaw dressing (I usually make the dressing myself and cut the sugar in half so it's not quite as sweet). My whole family prefers this to creamy coleslaw or oil and vinegar coleslaw (with shredded cabbage).

I also like tossing a couple of handfuls into a salad. Nice crunch to it.

I do mine a few different ways depending on what's in the fridge,

Either mayo, greek yogurt or sour cream mixed in.

For something more savory we sometimes add chopped ham, bacon, chicken
    Shredded cheese and salsa

With yogurt we add apples and oranges and make a healthy sweet side

I LOVE boccoli slaw! I found some Marzetti's low cal cole slaw "sauce." I use 1 tbsp per 1/2 of slaw. I eat that as my salad every night for dinner. I usually add extra matchstick carrots to mine as well.

I use Ken's Sweet Vidalia Onion (Light) with some green onion cut up. It is SOOO good and filling.

I chop it up and add it to my tuna sandwiches. I don't like celery so broccoli slaw is a great substitute if you want some crunch in your tuna.

I make a Thai Tofu Peanut salad, use your broccoli slaw or any julienned veggie combo, the dressing is rice vinegar, a bit of sugar or honey, tamari sauce, hot chili sauce( a touch) a bit of hoisin sauce, a drip of sesame oil. add diced tofu, chopped peanuts, and cilantro. It is sooooo yummy!
