Seeing how good people look to be able to compare to start
Damn, I wish I'd taken a photo at the start
I've noticed the beer belly get far smaller, it would of been a huge morale boost to see the difference

Anyone else feeling these regrets?

I took my "starting" photo a couple of months after I actually started - just before I began the p90x program. I wish I had taken it sooner, but I'm definitely glad that I took the photos. It's a huge help, when I'm feeling like I haven't gotten anywhere or still feel like I'm so far from goal.

There's still time- take some pictures now!

Yes! I also regret not taking measurements. My "before" picture was taken about a year before I started. And it's not a very good pose.

Yep, I totally have those regrets. The best I can do for "before" pics are find pictures of myself to snag off Facebook. Strange considering when I joined here last February, seeing other people's success stories was a HUGE motivator for me!

I did end up taking some pictures about half way through the journey, but it's just not the same!

I'm right there with you, I just dug through our family pics at Christmas to see if I could find a good before pic of me, the only thing I was able to discover is that I was very good at avoiding the camera. :)

Im just about to start a New Rules of Lifting for Women, and definitly going to take before and after shots now.

Just find some old photos. Won't be quite the same, but I look at old photos of me, and it feels great!! :drinker:

I regret not taking more progress photos and measurements during my first round of P90X when I started back in May. I'm down 47 pounds and can't picture myself almost 50 lbs heavier.

yes, totally. When I was at my HW I pretty much shied away from pics, and of course didnt take 'before' pics either...im down 26 pounds and sometimes I feel like Im making so much progress but others I totally doubt it....I REALLY wish I would have taken them :(
  • I took one at 30 days and then one at 60 days. Between that time I only lost 4 pounds, but HOLY MOLY! Those 4 pounds mattered. It's never too late to start.

I always say this I mean I still have pics of me when I was 250+ but it would have been nice to have real shiritless progress pics to compare with. Oh well, it all just started so quick!

I've got one that looks quite bad, but its only a face shot, something at least
And i do have measurements taken :) but I just feel that visual indicator would be very helpful

Going to take some tomorrow morning when I'm feeling a lot less bloated
Training to do a marathon by the end of the year, and really getting into strength training too
Hopefully there will be a good difference :)
