Have you ever stepped onto a scale an realize that you are in need of some serious alterations??? And I don't mean just your clothes. I mean I look in the mirror and the reflection that I see isn't quite the person I remember. So I made a decision to alter my lifestyle instead of my clothes. I mean, if you know me, or most women for that matter than you will understand what I mean when I say that I am not going to go buy a new wardrobe just to fit my new (increasing) size, when I have a whole new wardrobe in my closet now that will fit the old me. So this new me (or the old me) is embarking on a journey to get AND STAY fit!

I'm new to this site and am hoping that I may make some new acquaintances that can give me guidance and help me to stay focused. Oh, I forgot to mention that I may need to alter my friends list also. Not that I have bad friends, I just need friends that have the same healthy interests and goals. I am hoping that this site can be a tool in my arsenal
to aid me obtain the lifestyle changes needed for a lean, fit, life. So any feedback you can provide would be most appreciated as I am sure I am about to be on the ride of my life.

Welcome to the Matrix. You will get all the feedback you ever wanted, and then some more.

Good luck. And feel free to "friend" me if you want.
  • Welcome, and I love the thought of alterations - not just for clothes anymore! I am new here too, so feel free to send me a friend request. Good luck and hopefully we will both find ourselves with a new list of healthy, supportive friends!

I'm trying to fit back into my old wardrobe as well. My fiance tells me to just buy a new one. The problem is I LOVE my old one. And a new one would cost more then I care to spend with my tastes in cloths ;). Feel free to add me. I'd be happy to help you on your journey.
