so I am trying to do Insanity, and my body was worked today all in a mater of 15 minutes! I didn't finish the cd and now my body is extremely sore. What are some good excercises to do when every muscle in your body hurt? I am planning on walking for an hour tomorrow morning but want to add a little more calorie burning.

Honestly I don't know if Insanity is for beginners. It seems like you have to be in pretty good shape already to be able to do it from what I hear. I haven't tried myself but I have done P90X a few times with my fiance and that was surprisingly difficult. And I am told that Insanity is even harder.0

Well I have both and Insanity is deff way harder. It is such a great way to burn calories though. I am thinking about maybe just doing Zumba for a while until I am in some kind of shape.0

I find walking good for sore muscles. It sucks at first but then everything loosens up and you wont regret it! As for sore muscles, I slowly stretch out my muscles in little increments and things slowly loosen up. I'm not sure what the insanity DVD is but on my "off" days - when i'm not doing zumba or turbo kick - I do moderate weight training. Just make sure to stay at it, that's all that matters and start slowly to work your way up. Going for an hour walk is great! If it's outside, find some hills. If it's on a treadmill, use an interval training that is pre-programmed on the machine.
Also, to minimize soreness, I recommend really watching what you're eating. It's been suggested that eating things like blueberries (the most magical fruit in the world
) help minimize soreness after a good workout. Drink lots of water and work your way up. Don't be too concerned about burning the most calories in a day if you're sore.
Feel free to add me if you want!0
