We've all heard about juicing for a long time now... ever since I was little I remember the Jack Lalanne info-merrcials on TV every sunday afternoon ... but I just thought that juicing was for old people with a big juicing machine!!! Nowadays, it seems like everyone is juicing ...more for the health benefits. not just to lose weight. I am looking for some websites on the SCIENCE behind juicing .. more or less, what it does for the body -- in both the short & long term; how long you have to "juice" for ... and is it REALLY worth it ?

If you like juice, I think it's an awesome idea to make your own so you know what's in there and can avoid any extra sugars and additives and all that jazz.

I don't understand "juicing" as a diet, though.

I watched a documentary about juicing called "Fat, Sick and Nearly Dead" it was an extreme diet, but the man needed to loose some extreme weight. I wouldn't necessarily recommend his regiment, but the documentary has a lot of useful information!!!

I would watch it, if you're interested in juicing :)
    It definitely peaked my interest!
