Does anyone else feel bloated and kind of blocked by eating carbs and it makes you not so 'regular' with going to the loo, as well?
Also I have noticed if i eat carbs (even if it is in my calorie allowance) i dont lose weight as easily - i feel like my body cant break it down or something. Does anyone have the same problems? x

Bloated - yes, Blocked - no. I have trouble with overeating when my carbs are too high.

Switch to Whole grain, white flour does that to me. Also get checked for Celiac's disease.

Yup. I call carbs my little life-ruiners. I get sleepy, groggy, bloated, and overall yucky-feeling when I eat too many of them. It's not until I drop down to very low carbs that I truly notice how horrible I felt before.

Protein-heavy dinners make me feel a lot better than carb-heavy ones, that's for sure...

I only make pasta every once in a while now... if we have burgers, I use the Thomas Bagel Thins as the buns, only 100 calories and not much bread. I also do salmon burgers (buy the patties at the wholesale warehouse like Sams or Costco) and breakfast sandwiches with egg and cheese.

We love to have breakfast for dinner, so that's an easy way to cut carbs. Bacon per 2 slices is around 90 calories, and two eggs are roughly 150 calories, plus any veggies you want to add... then add a little shredded cheese (or cottage cheese) and you're good to go.
