is it bad to have too much vitamin C in one day?

it might seem like a dumb question, but im always wayyy over the amount of vitamin C the website says i should have. so is it bad, or ok?

    I'm not an expert but I'm pretty sure any unused vitamin surplus leaves your body when you pee, so it's fine.

    Since Vitamin C is water soluable, it is nearly impossible to OD on it. Whatever your body can't absorb or use straight away will be passed out through the urine.

    Now, fat soluable vitamins are different as they are stored in the fat tissue.

    Water soluable yes, fat soluable, not necessarily so.

    ...true, you will just pee out the unused however it also can make you have loose poo when you take to much? 1000mg a day is good but I always double that if I feel a cold or flu coming on (which is not too often thank goodness) Stay healthy!!!
