Need help! Confused!!

I have recently been eating around 1200 cal a day with about an hour of exercise and I feel full every day. Not hungry, not depriving. I have read more about the "starvation mode" and am concerned that is why I am not losing. I am a 5'5" 23 y/o female and currently weigh 155 and want to be 130. I exercise for an hour at least 5 days a week. Should I up my calorie intake to 1500?
I lost about 2lbs a week doing weight watchers and have only lost .8 in 2 weeks with more exercise than I have ever done....
The whole TDEE thing is confusing me!!

From what I have read from others you are not eating enough. Maybe try uping the calories some. Good luck.0

I think at your height and weight you should be consuming probably 1800 calories a day, especially if you're strength training at all (which you should be if you want your weight loss to be sustainable). I'd try adding some more protein into your diet, or do a flex thing, 1800 calories one week, 1200 the next, 1500 the next, to keep your body guessing.0

According to a TDEE calculator I found on google your TDEE is 2357 calories. To lose you should cut this by 10-20% which would be 235-470 calories giving you 2122-1887 calories you should be consuming to lose weight. Most people that only eat 1200 or less are putting themselves in starvation mode signaling their body to hold on to fat. Even if you may not "feel" hungry. I would try to go up to AT LEAST 1500 and see if that works for you. I too was eating 1200 and stopped losing. I upped my calories to around 1500 and lost 2 pounds the very next week. Haven't weighed yet this week. Hope this helps!0

So, I did the same thing as you for about 3 weeks, exercising more and harder than EVER before. Only to lose a mere 3 pounds and then stall?? I started doing research and learning about TDEE and BMI etc. Although we are eating "enough" for ourselves.. we are exercising more than ever which means we're burning more "fuel" so to speak. So upping your calories is probably a very good idea. I've upped mine from 1200 to 1800 and am on week 3 of doing so. I gained about 1.5 lbs but it came right off after a week. I'm leveled off now but I am starting to SEE changes on my body.
I only weigh myself once a week otherwise I'll go nuts over a number that doesnt really matter. Your dress sizes wont change if you "weigh" less... it will change when inches come off. So I've decided to just go off of the measuring tape instead.
Look up increasing your caloric intake- it really makes sense.0
