Question on cardio calorie tracker

When I enter the time I do the bicycle or elliptical the calories burned that my fitness pal suggests is different than what the machine tells me...what do you go with? Machine only knows my weight, Fitness Pal knows, height, weight and age so that makes more sense to me in accuracy...help, what do you go with? Machine, Fit Pal or average? Thanks for any input!

i have seen the question asked before. Most people are going to tell you to get a HRM to be sure. I can't afford one myself. I usually go with my machine I am working out on. Or maybe a combination of the two like a middle ground.0

PP is right. An HRM is the only way to tell as I have found MFPs numbers are high.0
