I have this recipe I made on my blog as a cookie but I wanted to make my own snack bar for me and my son, so I just patted the batter in a pan, baked and cut into bars!!! YUMMY they are chewy and delicious!
www. thinmeals.blogspot.com
1 cup Self Rising Flour
3/4 cup No Sugar added applesauce
1/4 cup white sugar
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp nutmeg
1/4 cup light brown sugar
1 cup quick cooking oats
1/2 cup raisins
mix brown & white sugar and applesauce together.
sift or blend flour, nutmeg and cinnamon together in a separate bowl. Add to applesauce mixture and mix.
Add oats and raisins and mix together.
Grease a pan... i think my pan was like 10x7 with cooking spray and pat batter into pan evenly.
cook at 350 for 15 minutes.
cool and cut into 16 bars!
Enjoy!

Can you use Splenda in place of the white sugar? Not sure it would work with the brown sugar. Looks deliciious....0

not sure you can cut in half or by 1/4 servings and try it out. It might work considering it doesn't bake that long.0 -
