Okay so i am about 5'5 and currently way 153 lbs. I a looking to loose about 25lbs, but I just feel lost and confuse on what to do. I have always tried to eat around 1200 calories, but now after reading some of these posts people are saying the more the better...so should I be aiming for 1300? I feel like i'm just lost on the whole concept of "how to lose weight" with all the calorie counting, adding in exercise, etc. Can someone who has been succssful give me some insight on what to do, what has worked for them. Food suggestions would be of help too.
Thanks
Thanks

In general, unless you have 75+lbs to lose, you should try to eat your BMR. What is your MFP goal set to? If you're set to lose 1lb a week (which you should be for 25lb), then it should be calculated near there. 1200 is probably too low for you.0

Determine you average TDEE.
Chose an excersize plan compatible with your goals/lifestyle.
Create a practical calorie deficit.
Be patient.0 -
Go to My Home and click Goals. Click Change Goals at the bottom of the page then select 'Guided'. Correct any information that needs it and your goals will be updated.0

Okay thank you I found it, I guess I did use that before too. I re-entered my current information and still came up with the 1200 calorie goal. I seem to be okay with meeting that goal, some days are more of a struggle. I am working out 4-5 days a week so hopefully with time this will work. I'm just impatient I guess lol. Thanks for the help! anyone taking any vitamins? I picked up a bottle of vitamin B (metabolism booster) have been taking 1 with my breakfast daily...0

make sure you eat the exercise calories you earn. You will probably have very low energy if you don't.0
