just joined and would like to get tips as to what to eat and how to count the calories and what would be good or bad calories. Thanks, and wish me luck!!!!!

Start off by eating what you would normally eat in a day and logging it in to your food diary, you may be surprised at how many calories you consume. After that you will figure out how to make adjustments and eat less calories and make better food choices.
Maybe it's not the most technical explanation on how to use MFP, but that's how it worked for me. Remember to eat lots of fruits and vegetables and don't forget about the protein.0 -
