I think I might be making those for me and my girl. She's a 11 year old fjord. And she'd really like them.
This is her.

and here I thought horse cookies meant "horse sized" cookies.....

I'll have to play with the recipe! It sounds perfect for a sweets craving without all the added gunk!
edit: would also like to add that I seriously miss playing with ponies. I used to work at a stable and miss it terribly. Boo. :-/0 -

My cousin used to eat milk bones (she grew up at a kennel) so why can't people eat horse cookies? These do sound tatsy0

So, my boyfriends daughter made these tonight - yes, for a horse - and I started noticing all the ingredients and kept thinking to myself, "Man, I bet these are good!!" And boy am I right!! Not a super-sweet snack, but just enough! Would be great with a glass of milk!!

I've tried organic gourmet dog "cookies" before that had similar ingredients and they weren't too bad, a little on the dry side, but with some milk, ok! Also, FYI the dog "cookies" at PetCo are also organic and the chocolate chip ones are pretty tasty!0
