I make soup in the crockpot on the weekends, so I can freeze and take to work throughout the week...Broccoli cheese was last week, yum. I'm going back and forth between the below recipes. What do you guys think?

Or do you have any recipes that you could suggest? Looking for crockpot recipes, that are filling, and lower cal. I usually eat around 300 for lunch, bc I have breakfast, snack, lunch, snack, dinner. It works for me...

BTW, I made this one : http://www.skinnytaste.com/2011/02/turkey-chili-taco-soup.html a few months ago, and it was sooo good! Of course, I switched out the turkey for 93/7 beef, but that's just my preference. Not really a ground turkey fan. But it was really yummy, and super easy to make.

Which one would fit into your day? I would make the one you could have more of. I don't like soups that I can only have 1/2 cup. I need more food then that.
Also I don't see any nutrition info. You will have to create recipe.

I made the Tomato Basil soup from 365 Days of Crockpot - it's very, very good! I do recommend that you cook the veggie mixture for 7 hours....otherwise the carrots will still be a little crunchy.

I'm a big fan of lentil soup, I must say. Hearty enough to fill you up and totally tasty! I sometimes make it with bacon cut up into it for added flavour if I'm feeling a bit naughty. Mmmmm.

Yes!! I made this and ate the whole pot by myself (not in one sitting, of course) LOL. I LOVED THIS RECIPE. It made a very hearty lunch and I ate it w/ a few fritos, light sour cream and low fat shredded cheese. Yummy!!

Your post inspired me to go to the market during my lunch and get potatos, lol :) Here is the recipe I use, it is very low-calorie:

I use regular bacon instead of turkey bacon, and I also usually don't bake the garlic, I just add crushed garlic to the soup. All my coworkers get super excited when I make this, lol :) And it is SO EASY. Takes no time at all.

I made the chicken pot pie soup recipe from skinnytaste.com and it was excellent. I need to try a new soup recipe soon too so I'm checking out the responses. I love soup during the winter.
