Whether it's fast foods like subway or chipotle, or nicer restaurants.. Just want to get more ideas of places to eat out when I am too busy too cook or when I am traveling.

Here in Texas I normally go to subway, panera breads, jason deli, kerbey lane.. sometimes I even go to Panda Express, where I mostly just get the beef brocoli and steamed rice.

Whatever sounds good. I can make good choices and eat reasonable portions just about anywhere.

Oh yes I love sushi too! And we have a Whole Foods cafe too in Austin forgot to mention that one. Their veggie pizza is so good!
  • Wherever the rest of my lunch group wants to go. I'm not a picky eater so I can usually find something on the menu that's at least reasonably healthy. But we tend to go to a lot of local/mom & pop type of places so finding accurate nutrition info is a hit & miss.

    Chick-fil-a
    Subway
Wendy's (Apple pecan chicken salad is sooo good)
    Outback
    Carrabba's
Anywhere that offers boneless skinless chicken breast and steamed veggies with hot sauce!
Did I mention I like chicken?

I eat out for lunch every day and am still losing!

A couple of my favorites are:

Firehouse Subs (1/2 of Smoked Turkeybreast w/ everything on wheat & a pickle spear) = 335 calories
Rumbi (1/2 of either the Voodoo Chicken Salad) = 325 or (1/2 of a 1/2 of the Hawaiian Teriyaki Chicken Bowl w/ Brown Rice) = 250
Baja (Classic Steak Tacos) = 200 cal each.

On in a hurry days I will do the Carls Jr Teriyaki Turkey Burgar... its 470 cal...

Then there is Zupa's, Quiznos, Applebees.

Sometimes I will sit in parking lots and search the nutrition facts for all of the resteraunts I can see. lol So this is a very good idea!
