Updated profile photos - Yay Me.

Hi everyone,

I just updated my profile photos to show how far I've come. I had been dreading taking photos because I find it hard to see myself in pictures, as so many others have discussed recently. But this morning I took the plunge and decided to just do it. The impetus was the shirt I am wearing, which I have had for a couple years. When I put it on, *I* noticed a difference. I have loaded a couple pics taken over the past couple years, including one where I am wearing the same shirt.

Yayyyyyy ME!!!! :flowerforyou: I am very pleased with the results I am seeing. This is extremely gratifying. The exercise torture and the effort in managing food intake has been well well worth it.

We CAN do it!

    Thanks to you all... I'm really surprised at the difference. It's almost like your brain suddenly catches up to your loss and you wake up one day and bam you see it. Just a couple days ago, I was still dreading seeing myself in pics. Huge step for me to take these and post.

    Not only is it wonderful, it's mostly shocking. Ocean_91 and I were just discussing how it's very difficult to see and acknowledge oneself as being as big as we were. I really believe it's a self-preservation thing. That said, we are both shocked at each others appearance at our top weight. Didn't really notice in our day to day lives that we both had gotten as big as we were. So I'm going to repeat it. It's shocking! You should have heard my reaction when I saw her top weight photo. She too has come a long long way.

    I don't know that this site would have enough room for me to add all my shoe photos! lol. But I have considered it :bigsmile:

    And I agree, not only do they make them look sexy but they give you a good workout too. :laugh: A little bonus to wearing high heels.
