Wanting to know if anyone has/uses a SodaStream? I am tired of lugging bottles of whatever home every week and watching the trash fill with bottles so i am thinking of purchasing a SodaStream (mainly for the sparkling water, diet drinks and teas) Does anyone have one and what do you think about it? We are not able to drink the tap water due to the location we are currently in so I will still have to lug around gallon jugs of water or cases of bottled water. If you use one what is your favorite flavor?

We got one for my mom-in-law for Christmas and its pretty cool. The root beer was my favorite flavor. She uses it mostly for the citrus flavored waters, which I don't like. (in general, not just the SS flavors).

But have you thought about a water cooler? With the SS you're using plain water that it injects the carbon dioxide into. So you'll either be drinking your tap water or needing filtered water anyway. But a water cooler takes five gallon jugs that need to be carried around less frequently than gallon jugs. We have one and I can't imagine life without it. $1.25 for five gallons of filtered water and it's dispensed super cold or hot enough for tea at the touch of a finger.

And if you really don't want to carry anything around, you can find a local water delivery service and they'll bring X number of jugs to your door on a weekly or monthly schedule.

I have one. Just got diet orange flavour - it tastes kinda of like raro, which here is a powdered juice drink you mix up in water.
There's also a nice cranberry and raspberry diet flavour. The best non diet flavour is kiwi iced tea. Amazing.

Thanks ya'll! I have thought about a water cooler however we live in a fifth wheel travel trailer with 2 people and 2 dogs (my husband travels for work, we sold our house and are now full time RVers) so we really dont have the space for a water cooler.
