Quick question for those of you who have read/followed the program in this book....Did you start lifing when you got to your goal weight or at any point in your weight loss journey? I am 15 lbs away from my 1st goal, so I dont know if I should wait until I reach my goal, or just start right now....Opinions please

Start lifting now. When you lift you are shedding the fat which starts to change your body's composition. I wish I would've started strength training way before I reached this point. My body would've looked soooooooooo much better.

Start now...there is no benefit to waiting. Lean muscle will help you shed those pounds. Good luck!

Start lifting now. You will love it! I wished I would have started sooner. I can see the changes in my body and I am just getting ready to start stage 2. But please do not be alarmed or discouraged if you begin to gain weight it is normal. I say stay off the scale for about a month ....Your appeitite will also likely increase

I'm lifting and I'm still a good 40kg away from my goal. Start now.

  • I don't have the book but I do lift heavy. When I started, I could only lift 10lb single arm bicep curls. After 6 months, I could now do 25lb single arm curls. Eventhough I am still overweight, my shape is smaller at the same weight.
