Just joined tonight..looking for help to stay on track! 45 yr old mother of 4. Dog rescuer. And lifetime caregiver to the elderly...its time to take care of me!!

    I too have just joined, and I so relate to the 'time to take care of me' I have 5 children and multiple special needs, I too am looking for support, encouragement and "reminders" to take care of my needs as we too often forget. May I add you as a friend?

    Oh ya, I know what a yooper is. Holy jeez, but I am just a former troll out here in the deserts of Las Wages. Started my first week, hopefully only 6-8 left to go. Trying to lose around 30 pounds.

    Haven't hit my forties yet (35yrs), and I don't have any kids, but I'm a born and raised Michigander. Would love to have some more friends from my homestate....I miss it something fierce, especially in the summer time (currently live in upstate SC...waaaay too hot for me).

    I have a friend who lives in the New Buffalo area, and I think he works in Indiana (Is there a nuclear power plant in that area? I think that's where he works.) I was born in Berrien County, MI, and my dad was born and raised in Stephensville, MI (about 30min from New Buffalo).

    What part of NC? My mom lives in Raleigh, and I'm in Upstate SC, not far from Charlotte and Asheville.

    Haha...I saw "yooper" and had to click! I'm a bit younger than the others here...23 years old but a Yooper none the less! Lived in Menominee most of my life and went to school in Marquette. Feel free to add me if you'd like!
