Feeling sad, mad, bad nasty tude? Meh...go take a WALK!

This morning I woke up just as nasty and mean as a junkyard dog for some ugly and foul reason.
I could blame all kinds of stuff (women's issues/time of life/whatevah) but I just felt grouchy and irritable.

So, as soon as I hopped my mean tail out the bed, I asked my beloved handsome hubby if would take a walk with me. Now my husband is not the "walking type" especially first thing in the morning. I told him I'm feeling mean and hateful and ya know what he said....he said "okay" and we walked for 83 minutes and it was so beautiful. He held my hand and walked proudly with me as I was donning my jogging work-out exercise outfit he and the children bought me, and you would have thought he was walking with Miss America or somebody.

Anyhoo, I'm telling ya, this walking business is Awesome. I'm not talking about walking really fast, nor trying to get your heart-rate up nor any of that "stuff" just walking to enjoy life, walking for the sake of strolling about. I'm telling ya--it does a body, mind and soul good. because when we got back--I felt like a new person. I felt refreshed and renewed.

All this to say, if you're feeling down, blue, depressed, upset, all kinds of other YUCK--meh, GO TAKE A WALK:wink:

P.S. -- NSV: I'm in the 170's baby!!!!! When I got home, I weighed myself (I do daily before I work-out...that walk was not my workout" and my friend the scale told me: 179.8 baby!!!!!! Woot!!!!!!:drinker:

    I really enjoy my husband and mine walks. We really talk about things and enjoy pointing out things to our son (I.e squirrel, tree etc etc)

    I like you :) Walking is great for you, and just walking just to walk and enjoy life is amazing too :)

    Glad you're in the 170s! Soon I'm sure you'll be in the 160s and closer towards your goal! :)
