Good luck at your garage sale, MM! Won't be able to stop by this time - I hope you make lots of money. I'm doing the morning three classes then off to Dallas. We're staying in a hotel this time, so we'll have an exercise room, yeah!
See you guys Monday evening.
Short post, boogaloo!

Wishing you a safe and fun journey, Mary!
Also, MM hope you make a fortune, and the day goes well for you!
(I'm sure I've forgotten something for someone else. . .)
Today is a day off from "official exercise". The goal today is to eat clean and sensibly, and aim for the neighborhood of my calories. I'm going to try to walk home from an appointment, but once again the rain is looming.
Nervous/excited about the road trip, and trying to figure out any loose ends, planning wise, I need to tie up.
Weekend boogaloo!

Hey quick check in. We're still out selling. We've sold over half the stuff. We have a radial saw that we thought would sell but no takers. It's a big dollar item. We just found out that it will be cooling off over the next few days but it's suppose to be windy. We just had a gust that blew our signs all over. lol. We put out a donation box and strangers have actually donated without buying anything so that has been really sweet. I don't know how long we are going to stay out there. It's at least 100 degrees. I'm sweating more than I think I ever have in my life and water is just not helping the thirst that much. I think over all it's going really well. I just wish some of the big items would have sold. Oh well. Craigslist here we come!
I hope you all are well. I'm going to go drink some more water now!

It's been pouring rain here all day, and I actually thought "I hope Mechanicmom is having good weather for her sale."I guess really hot, but still good for shopping and donating!

We were outside from 7-4:30. We made $480, so that helps a lot. Not nearly as much as we need but it helps! We still have a lot of stuff left over. It's back in the dining room now. I don't even want to think about it or look at how messy everything is. I am just toast. I'm going to give Alex a bath, put him to bed, shower myself and relax until my early bed time.

I'm just going to tag my reporting for the day here. . .as we all seem to be taking the day off?
I'm off to Bikram in a few hours. I'm a bit nervous, since the temp. was not under control the last time I went. (this seems to be the hardest element for new teachers to learn).

Hi V, Not much to report here. Lots of eating. I don't know why. DH cleaned up a lot of the mess in the house so that helped my stress level some. It rained really good, but it brought along some bad. We found out the roof is still leaking around the fireplace. :grumble: Not any damage that wasn't already there.
That's my report for the day.

Hi ladies. Sorry I've been MIA the last couple of days. Nothing special going on, just busy running errands and hanging out with my hubby. Did a lot of walking around today at "Homerama" looking at model homes. It was okay, but they really all start to look the same. These are big, new houses in the suburbs, so it's a little hard to compare them with what would actually be possible, renovation-wise, in my much smaller, circa-1920 house in the city.
I also went shopping today for an outfit to wear to a wedding next weekend. I hate shopping and getting dressed up. I just never feel like I know what I'm doing - I'm no good with shoes, accessories, etc.But I got a cute blue sundress that my husband says makes me look like a teenager. I guess that's good? At least both the things I tried on were the size that I thought I was, and fit me. I may go shopping again this week and see if I can find anything that I like better. Is a knee-length cotton dress OK for a 5pm wedding, or should it be something fancier?
I did test pushups a couple of days ago, since you guys are going to do them with me (yay!). I managed 30, though I was really pushing - I had to pause several times (in plank, and once I actually pushed back to a modified downward facing dog) to make it to that number. I will probably start week 3 over again on level 3.
Glad you survived the garage sale, MM. V, I hope they got the temperature sorted out. I honestly don't know how you do Bikram - I would pass out for sure. Mary, hope you had a nice trip.
