It is my husband's birthday and we are going to Olive Garden tomorrow night. I plan to get the salad with their low fat dressing on the side. However, I don't know what I am going to get for my main meal. Any ideas?

I personally like the cappelini di mare (if you like seafood). It's angel hair pasta with shrimp, mussels, and clams in a tomato sauce. One plate is 650 cals.

If you're not into seafood, the apricot chicken is pretty low cal (400). Limit the breadsticks, they add up (150 each).

I usually do the soup, salad, and one breadstick. I get the Minestrone soup, salad with very very light dressing, and 1-2 breadsticks max. Each breadstick is 150 calories.

A whole bowl of the minestrone is under 300 calories, and it's very tasty. Unfortunately, sodium is super high.

I order ala carte and get grilled salmon with veggies. They don't mind and it is super low-cal.
