Music you listen to while working out

I love my IPOD, I love all my music on my IPOD, however I was wondering what others like to listen to while working out. I can always use more music on my IPOD.

The soundtrack to Blood Diamond is my go-to workout album.
"Crossing the Bridge" and "Solomon Vandy" are probably my favorites for running, and I'm not going to lie, "I Can Carry You" is the only thing that can get me through a ninety-second plank at the moment...

I like a lot of stuff...

I like to zone out in long drawn out cardio burns... So I don't really listen to any thing particular motivating... Usually I start off with something hardcore heavy and fast or with a good beat like a hip hop or dubbstep song then I switch to a more mellow reggae, folk or I have even been known to blast some Mozart or Beethoven on my iPod during a long elliptical use.

Boxing - Heavy metal usually - Disturbed, Slipknot, etc I have a playlist called boxing...

I have a playlist called cardio hard, then one called cardio mellow.

Yeah I am weird, listening to freaking Celtic Flute music 45 minutes into an elliptical...

I habitually forget my ipod. So I listen to the gym music and watch the silent tv on my machine (I forget my headphones too. lol).
  • Right now I'm really liking sexy and I know it by LMFAO and Stronger by kelly Clarkson as motivation(silly, I know) songs, otherwise It's usually stuff like Lady Gaga, Kety Perry, or Dev. Sometimes some techno or dubstep thrown in. It's really depends on if I'm jogging, doing pilates, or aerobics. I like different playlists for different kinds of exercise. =]

I'm all over the board with Eminem, Chris Brown (can't stand him, but like his music), Madonna, Kelly Clarkson, and a few others I can't remember the names of.
  • My favorite bands to listen to while working out are: The Rolling Stones, Duran Duran, Madonna, and The Police. It makes it fun lol:) I like just listening to the radio, too.

I listen to 80s and early 90s Gangsta Rap, because it's fast and I'm an old white boy from the suburbs.

100 miles and runnin' is the best song for cardio. lol
