Advice about rest days please

Hi, I've just started doing the 30 day shred and while I realise it's meant to be every day for 30 days I'm thinking I should have a rest day inbetween each day for my body to recover, is this correct?

    Jillian recommended on her podcast to take 2 days off per week.

    Oh ok. just doesn't seem enough. I wanna be kind to my body!!

    i generally take one or two (fairly active) rest days per week, and i'm doing things that are a lot more intense than 30ds. two days off a week is plenty for 30ds! your body is stronger than you think.

    When I did it, I did it 6 days a week. I was really sore at first, but I find it helps to work through the pain! It is intense but not long - if you keep it up, you will start to crave the workout.
