I just found this website: http://www.perfect-body-toning.com/calculate-ideal-body-weight.html

It's a great resource for figuring out your ideal weight based on more than just height, as well as calories per day. It's not preachy or judgy, which I like.

Figured I would share! According to their scale, I'm within my ideal weight for my height and frame size...which is cool, I guess!

    Thanks for that I just bookmarked it I always thought the way they calculated your ideal weight was not right

    Ideal body weight sounds about right but it says I need 2700 calories a day...I dont think so!!

    This method has been around for years. I remember using 30 years ago in college nutrition class. It figures my ideal weight at 25 pounds less than other sites.
