Seeing results...

I've been using this website for a little over a week and I'm always under my calorie amount, I work out using the wii fit and walking and I haven't really lost much of anything. Maybe a pound...I actually gained a pound which shocked me cos I've been so good. Could that gained pound have been from working out and gaining muscle? When will I start consistently losing weight? I'm determined and dedicated to losing it this time so any insight would be helpful!

If you're committed to losing weight, don't focus on the short term. When you start an exercise program after not being on one for awhile, or ever, your body will start to convert fat into muscle and this could result in a slight increase. However, if you stick to proper eating and exercise, you will see pounds coming off over time. Also, pay more attention to how you feel that what the scale says. If your overall goal is good health, trust what you feel and you wil see a difference in how you look in time. No effective lifestyle change will ever result in quick changes that last. Be patient and keep up the program. You'll definitely feel better for it.0

It took a lot longer than a week to put the weight on. Be patient and don't give up- it will pay off in the end.0

Thank you guys! I think a lot of my problem is that I'm so impatient and I want results NOW! Haha...don't we all? I haven't given up and I don't plan to. It seems like maybe I'm losing inches or my figure is changing because I have noticed a bit of a change in how my pants fit. I hope it's not all in my head! I'm going to try to not focus on the numbers anymore. It's more about how I feel about how I look. I don't want to be a supermodel...I just want to be what I was before having my kids at least. I'm on my way and nothing will stop me this time!! Thanks for the support!0
