Hey everyone, I've been using this site for about 8 weeks. I was doing awesome the first 4 weeks, lost 6 lbs and 8 in! Then, I started back to school to finish my degree... So upon doing that, and working full time (midnight shift) and taking care of my family, I've gained back all but 2 lbs, and some inches... I'm just feeling down, cuz with being busy with school, now... and my already busy life as it was, I have almost no time to workout... Does anyone have an suggestions?
I'm in school online, and it takes up most of my freetime, I've got 2 little girls, I try to do my work outs after they go to bed... but then, I have to leave for work by 11:00 to get to work..
Please, someone give me some ideas... I don't want to gain anymore!!!:(((

Wow, you are very busy!!! Maybe try to incorporate your exercise throughout the day while you are doing other things...it might take some thinking and creativity. And perhaps a varied workout will be better than doing the same thing over and over. Also focus on what you are eating...if you are consistent with a good nutrition and staying within your calorie limit you should not gain even if you don't exercise as much. And don't give up but I understand your frustration. I hope this helps. :flowerforyou:0

I read somewhere, maybe on this site, of someone who bought a stability ball and took it to work. While they sat on it, they did crunches and were able to get a little strenth training on it while they worked. This might work while you're in school on line! You would be in school and working out at the same time! Then you can just focus more on keeping your calories down and snack on healthy foods only.
Good luck to you....we're all here for you!:flowerforyou:0 -
I sit on a stability ball everytime I am at the computer and just sitting on it makes a difference, what a good idea to bring one to work!!
Don't feel down though, you did it before and can do it again and once you get used to your new schedule you will figure it all out. Try little things, like running up and down steps, a quick set of curls, stretching....and build from there.0 -
Maybe a walk WITH your girls... if they are too little for that you can push them in a stroller (or pull them in a sled or wagon)...... the added weight would enhance the workout....0

Thanks all...
I will see what I can do. I do have a stability ball, I'll see about using more often. We are in Missouri, so our weather, isn't all that great, last week we did have some days that were dry and warm, we did get outside for yardwork and some walking with the girls and dog.
Thanks, for your assistance!!!0
