I have a new one, it never bothered me before, but last week we ordered Chinese food. And one of the boys, who's starting to get to "that age". wouldn't stop saying "water chestnut" (emphasis on chest...and... nut)

I will always always always call my daddy "daddy" ... my mama calls her daddy that, my Mamaw refers to her [dead] daddy that way, and on and on and on. He will always be my daddy, and I will always be his Bitty Boo. Nothing wrong with that.
Oh I know what else I dislike...when grown women call their father 'daddy'...that makes me cringe!
Or when people say B00bies...what are you, 5?

    Hubby.

In all instances, but ESPECIALLY if you aren't married yet you refer to your partner/fiance/boyfriend as 'hubby'
