think twice about water!
To my friends who enjoy a glass of wine...
and those who don't. :drinker:
As Ben Franklin said:
In wine there is wisdom,
in beer there is freedom,
in water there is bacteria.
In a number of carefully controlled trials,
scientists have demonstrated that if we drink
1 liter of water each day,
at the end of the year we would have absorbed
more than 1 kilo of Escherichia coli, (E. coli) - bacteria
found in feces.
In other words, we are consuming 1 kilo of poop..
However,
we do NOT run that risk when drinking wine & beer
(or tequila, rum, whiskey or other liquor)
because alcohol has to go through a purification process
of boiling, filtering and/or fermenting.
Remember:
Water = Poop,
Wine = Health.
Therefore, it's better to drink wine and talk stupid,
than to drink water and be full of ****.
There is no need to thank me for this valuable information:
I'm doing it as a public service!
and those who don't. :drinker:

You realize that there are thousands of strain of e.coli out there; of which only a few are dangerous. Rest assured that even if you avaid water all together you still have a few strains of e.coli in your body.0

Yeah, if there is that much "*kitten*" in water...just think how much is floating around in the air you breathe.
Everytime a dog takes a poo and you walk by, your sucking down doo-doo.
Kinda reminds me of that statistic that came out years ago, talking about how many bugs we consume a year just thru breathing while you sleep.0 -
haha love it0

Speaking of funny statistics (you can look this up). There is more human feces on a keyboard than there is on a toilet seat.0 -
Hey Now!!! :drinker:
Aren't you just getting all skinny & sassy! :flowerforyou:0 -

Gives a whole new meaning to "so clean you could eat off a toilet seat" eh?0 -

I may have misinterpreted that analogy....0 -

While I love anything that encourages drinking, I have to point out one logical fallacy of the above statement. A liter is approximately 33 ounces and a kilo is approximately 35 ounces so how can there be 35 ounces of E. coli in 33 ounces of water... I'm just saying.
That being said, wine is delicious and highly encourage drinking it. :drinker:0 -

Because it was stated that after a year of drinking a litre of water a day that much would have passed through your system.0 -
LOL. My mom always said "You'll eat a pound of dirt before you die." She didn't say anything about poo though. Loves the beer and wine, but can't afford the calories.:laugh:0
-
speaking of expressions..... "you are what you eat" i guess that means we are all microscopic bacteria?0
-
i love how people are getting so literal with this. reminds me of my special k thread thats now up to 93 posts about bad HFCS when all i said was how good it tasted.
this does make me kinda cringe as i'm chugging my water tho. lmao.:drinker:0 -
LOL Lil Leah, I was thinking the same thing.0
-
I'd like a nice cold bottle of freedom right about now. Too bad my sweet Heineken is 150 calories a pop and its just not in the food budget today!0
