Hey Guys,
I was doing really good for a month or so, but then I moved and things got all discombobulated. Now I have gone back to my snacking habits and eating to much. I'm out of control and I'm moving again for summer. I will be going to a all new school and am very worried. I don't want people to think I'm heavy or overweight.
Does anybody have any tips for things I can do to keep busy, not snack? I was steadily losing weight then and was really happy, now my close are getting tighter and tighter :(!
Also some workouts to gain some tone and muscle? I will be trying out for cheer and would like to be in shape like I once was. Any advice, tips, or workout routines I can do would be greatly appreciated. Also you can add me as a friend if you want :)

  • What I make sure to do is keep lots of low calorie snacks around to munch on when I get cravings. I know my mother puts hers in little plastic baggies based on serving size so she doesn't overeat. I personally really like peanuts because it keeps me from eating a ton (taking the time to crack em open haha) and bananas are really filling too. If you find yourself craving sweets, just satisfy that craving before it controls you! I do this by having a fruit smoothie (with some added spinach, supplements, whatever is in the house..) and I'll sometimes buy chocolate protein powder to mix it up. But don't be discouraged by the past! Each day is your own. You've done it before, you can do it again! :)
For working out, I enjoy jogging and yoga. I also make sure to lift weights a few times a week. Helps tone you up and burn more fat in the future. It's pretty easy to find good workouts on youtube. Oh and yoga! It's awesome.

I know I definitely need to make things easy or it's way too easy to grab things that aren't good for me. I k ow I might be borng but I find rhat repetition helps me a lot. For examole, i always have cottage cheese and a fiber one bar fr breakfast, yogurt with chia seeds for morning and afternoon snack. I usually have salads for lunch then dinner s flexible. I add fruit too

The cottage cheese and yogurt are one of the few things that fill me up in the morning so I don't think about food and don't feel hungry. I've also had string cheese too. I find that by eating every few hours I don't tend to get ravenous and make bad solutions. Also if I have my snacks, lunch ready to go and there's no though involved and I'm nt ready to grab whatever sounds good.

I do high Intensity interval training on the elliptical 3-5 times a week but the one thing that has made an incredible difference s using kettle bells. Seriously, I've lost 10% body fat in 10 weeks and Yesterday my husband said my butt looks like it did when I was in my 20s. I do 50 swings with a 25 lb kettle bell 4-5 days a week. Theyre a bit expensive but my 25 pounder has more than paid for itself-I look great from behind, lol
