Anyone from Minneapolis?

Or currently living in? Me and my boyfriend (or my boyfriend and I for the grammar Nazis) are going to Minneapolis for 2-3 days starting Monday. We need a room. No, I'm not asking to stay with you  but if you know a great place to stay, preferably downtown with a great view, then I'd appreciate you filling me in. Did I mention we're on a budget? Lol something under $100/night.
Also looking for some good, semi-healthy places to eat that may have an online nutrition menu (because I hate guessing). We're going to Mall of America for sure and some other places around town. Plus staying downtown will give me some good steps on my FitBit.
Any help would be nice.

I don't think you're going to get anything downtown for less than 100 a night, unless possibly you could stay at a chain hotel, but I would guess even those rates are high.
My suggestions would be to rent a hotel room in one of the suburbs, and take the city bus or light-rail in. If you want to go to MOA, find a room in Bloomington, Eagan or Edina (and you should get cool skyline views), drive to the MOA (pretty short drive), and take the lightrail from the mail downtown!! The light rail is a blast to ride, and I believe it runs relatively late into the night so you can walk downtown the whole day and take it back.
Food places...hmm, not sure I can help you there. There may be an Au Bon Pain somewhere downtown and I think that has an online menu. I am not sure if you have a Quoba by you, but it is a chain like Chipotle, and their online nutrition calculator is the best I've seen of all calculators.0 -

Also, I don't have Quoba, but I LOVE Chipotle (it's like Moe's which is what I have down here). I'll look them up online. Never heard of Au Bon Pain though.0
