    Runkeeper for fitness.

Any.DO for to-do lists (gorgeous interface, good functionality).

Evernote – I take all sorts of notes in this, from web design and engineering brainstorms to my teaching notes for the Bible study I lead to pictures of random things I like to ideas for poems.

Dropbox for easy access to files – I can immediately access anything I put in Dropbox from my home computer, my phone, etc.

Amazon's app is fantastic; add 1-click and it's the easiest way to buy anything anywhere – I've even been at a store, used the barcode scanner it has built in to check the price on Amazon, and ordered it from Amazon because it was so much cheaper.

Pandora is pretty good. For syncing music with iTunes, I'm a big fan of Songbird. If you have a Spotify account, that app is excellent as well.

Cut the Rope is my favorite Android game.

The Kindle app is great, and very readable.

Parcels is awesome for tracking packages.

Tweetdeck is my favorite for Twitter.

Dolphin HD is a vastly superior browser than the default.

Google Sky Map and Google Earth are just plain fun.

Alarm Clock Xtreme (even just the free version) is super excellent.

    I only get free ones

my kids love angry birds (secretly I do too) and fruit ninja

I love MFP and soundhound (you tap the app then point it at the radio when you have a "what a great song! what is it called? who is the artist? I HAVE to know" moment and it will tell you plus it will tell you the lyrics!)

    enjoy your phone!
