Today is day 16. I started MFP at 318.5 pounds. I weigh myself every morning and the numbers either stay the same OR get smaller. never bigger! This morning the scale said 311.5. Thats SEVEN pounds in 16 days. I've been drinking NOTHING but water and my morning cup of coffee and i have 2 liters or more a day. I do walking everyday and I do zumba at home and some strength training. I get on the scale 3 times to get the same number. I'm just so SURPRISED that its coming off this fast!

:) If you work it, it happens. I lost 11lbs in 6 weeks.......it can happen that fast!

It sure can be, especially when you are relatively young, in pretty good shape under the weight, and relatively overweight. And a mom of four has to be in good shape just to keep up with them! :P

Just don't expect it to continue like this -- it will probably slow down, especially as your weight decreases -- but be happy you're off to a good start. :)

I think it just depends on like people have said; gender, age and your metabolism.

Women lose weight slower than men as they are biologically programed to store fat reserves for childbearing.

For me I found I've been doing MFP for 2 months now and have lost 34 pounds. I just make sure I drink LOTS of water and weight train to try and make sure I'm not left with flappy skin lol

WAY TO GO ON YOUR WEIGHTLOSS :-)
