Hey,

Just curious to if any of you ladies have issues with your period never ending...

My freshmen year of high school my periods would get so bad that i would have the runs the day before i started, day of, and day after...i usually threw up on the day of cause I cramped so bad and was always on my periods 3 weeks out of the month with only a week between each period..so we went to the doctor and they put me on birth control to straighten it out. Which it took away the bad cramps and me throwing up and after a few years seeing several different doctors and changing pills 5 different times they started becoming regular, but the last few months Ive started spotting for 2-3 weeks and maybe actually bleeding every now and then along with crazy bloated...the last two months or so Ive been feeling completly exausted i work out but i still feel like if i close my eyes ill be out..none of the seven doctors ive went to within the last 10yrs have been able to figure out whats wrong with me they change up my birth control, tell me to take B12 vitamins (which don't phase me at all) and recently switch me over to B-Yaz about 3 months ago to see if it'd help with my energy level which seems do only be worse..has anyone else had an issue simular to this maybe some advice..ive had my iron checked out and several other things and they say iam perfectly healthy and can not find anything wrong with me...iam just tired of being constantly tired all the time and bloated for 3 weeks and constantly having to check and make sure iam not bleeding

    Hey,

I had periods that lasted 30ish days and it was terrible. They only got better when I went on birth control.

Have you researched menorrhagia on the internet? Fibroids, perimenopause, adenomyosis can all cause irregular bleeding. Have you tried Depo-Provera? Endometrial ablation can also help however this is only when childbearing is completed. Keep researching and find a different doctor who will help you. :)

Wow! I felt like the only woman on the planet who would vomit from my cramps. :frown: So glad it's not completely unheard of. I'm not on any birth control bc I can't take it, unfortunately. If something helped in the past, it may help you again now. Keep trying til you find something that works, or else keep trying to find a doctor who can figure out what is wrong. Wishing you the best of luck and the return of your health :flowerforyou:
