Could someone post a chart here that shows how many cups in a quart and all the other information? I think this would be a quick and easy place to check for that information. I don't want to go through a bunch of books looking for the information and it would take less time to find it here then it would for me to figure out where to find the information through Google etc. ehehe Guess you could call me lazy.

you don't need to "go anywhere" on google to do the conversions
right in the search field type "convert 1 cup to quarts" or convert 3 ounces to grams etc

You mentioned weight in the topic. Do you have kitchen scales?

Thank you everyone for your replies. I love how helpful everyone is at MFP. I now have a specific place to click for any measurements I need to know at a moments notice.

Yep, I have a small little scale with an 8oz cup on it. Works for most things I do. I don't cook much and I only have me to feed. That is why I don't remember much about how many oz to a quart or I need to think really hard to remember it is 16oz to a pound of meat.

    Thanks again for your help.

I recommend you get some digital scales with a flat top. This will allow you to do tare function (add&weigh). It will also allow you to measure in grams (very handy for this site).
