Carb Cycling Advice

After a month of basically plateauing I figure I need to shake things up a bit. I'm starting carb cycling today. Going by Scooby's workshop that means-

3 days at 1729 calories - 45% protein/30% carbs/25% fat
1 day at 2121 calories - 30% protein/50% carbs/20% fat
(exercise calories already included)

Has anyone done this?
Did it help?
I usually eat less than even low days - so should I slowly up my calories over a few weeks until I reach it or just go all in?
Do I really have to eat every 3 hours or will it be ok as long as I hit the macros?

I've seen/heard lots of people on here that have done it... I didnt really know the details before & didnt really beleive in it before but i just recently read a really good article in one of the health/exercise mags... (i just looked for it but couldnt find it, sorry) the way it was laid out & explained im the magazine made me want to do it. I think people get pretty good results from it.

Thanks. I've seen posts on here before too (but not really specific in the details) which was why I looked into it. I'll let you know how I go.

Wendy Chant has a good book on carb cycling. It's worth a read.
