1/2 cup dry oatmeal (quaker quick oats)
1.5 T NATURAL crunchy peanut butter
1.5 scoops vanilla protein mix (I use Allmax Iso Flex - 30 grams per scoop)
1 packet of splenda (if you want)
mix the above ingredients. I add either very little water (just enough to make it stick together like peanut butter coookie dough) OR i use 1 tablespoon of peanut butter daVinci sugar free flavoring AND1 tablespoon of DaVinci sugar free caramel flavoring.
I mix with my hands and roll into balls similar to peanut butter cookie dough balls. You can eat them right away but i like mine cold. whole recipe fits in a snack size ziplock baggie!! Keep em in the fridge and use them as a quick snack! Makes 7 balls.
Im sure you can use almond butter instead but i havent tried that yet!

I found the DaVinci flavorings in the coffee creamer section of the grocery store (Wal-Mart was where I was at). Also, I would imagine that any natural peanut butter would do. Natural just means that it hasn't been overly processed, with sugar added, etc. It is the type of peanut butter that has to be mixed up before you use it, because it naturally wants to separate, leaving the oil at the top. It's quite delicious!0 -
I actually made these this morning, saw the recipe in a health magazine.0

Smart and Final has a whole slew of flavorings by Torani (same as DaVinci) - just make sure you get the sugar free ones. I swear they have like 20 flavors! They also sell them at Home Goods. My walmart did not have them but i hear some people say they are there. Might just be the one by my house doesnt? I am totally addicted to these things!0

i can never get the dry ingredients to combine (when using oatmeal) unless i use a lot of liquid...in this case, i used Almond Milk instead of water
I had to double the recipe because my flavored medicated protein only has 10 grams of protein per scoop. I could have used unflavored (that has 15 grams of protein) BUT it has a taste thats hard to cover. so i used 2 scoops of the flavored,
2.5 tbsp's of peanut butter, 2.5oz of almond milk, 3.5oz of quick oats (its all i had), 4 packs of stevia in the raw, and 15 grams of dark chocolate chips
I made 12 balls...

They were really wet and sticky, so i popped them on to a baking pan and in the freezer.0 -

Saving for later... I love cookie dough - so if this could take care of that craving - it'd be good!0

These things are addictive! I've made a couple of batches and have to really watch myself that I don't eat too many at once...it's too easy to do!0

I've been making similar but without the protein powder using 125g of pitted dates as the base, and adding in whatever dried fruit and nuts I think will make a good combo, plus a tiny bit of oil to help it bind. This weeks had a spoonful of PB, which upped the calories a bit, but was so worth it for the taste! Mmmmmm peanut butter.0
