Microwave kale/potato/apple chips in 3 minutes!!!
I love to make home made baked chips but they never come out quite right in the oven. They take forever and sometimes burn or don't come out crispy enough. I was thinking about buying a dehydrator but they are not only expensive but it takes over 6-8 hrs to make anything.
Yesterday I was at Whole Foods and came across the MASTRAD POTATO CHIP MAKER. Highly recommended. it only cost $24. You slice the fruit or vegetables with the provided slicer place them on the silicone rack and pop in the microwave for about 3-6 minutes depending on what your making. The result, Crispy Delicious, nutritious chips!!!
So far I have made Kale, Potato and Sweet Potato chips and it has worked perfectly for all three. much quicker and easier than the oven.
Watch at the video on YouTube to see how it works. Here is the Link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uZ8pItP9cO4

I've made these before, only tried potato (will have to try apple). Much better for you than store bought chips. They taste really good with salt or onion powder sprinkled on them.
For anyone that hasn't got the rack or if you dont want to buy one look at this link to see how to make them without one....

Pampred Chef also has a micowave chip maker. They also have the "simple slicer" which cuts the potatoes or apples super thin so they are perfect for chips!0
