hi,
just off the bat i do not mean illegal downloads, do not mind paying i just do not know where is good and cheap!
also I do not have an iPod so I'm guessing iTunes is pretty redundant?

Amazon.com. . . mostly .99cents a song, sometimes .89 or 1.29

you can also use website to convert youtube videos to mp3s and then download them. Just search for youtube to mp3 converter (free!)0

depending on your taste in music you may also want to check out emusic.com (they carry mostly independent and small label stuff in pretty much any genre you can think of)0
